Build an agent-first sales organisation for clinical research.
August gives clinical-trial sales teams specialised AI agents that continuously assemble market, account and commercial context and turn it into action.
Less time in systems, more time with people.
FOUNDING DEPLOYMENT PROGRAMME NOW OPEN →Every morning, your territory has moved overnight.
Two signals for your attention.
- Meeting brief ready: Meridian Bio, 10:30
- Account history, one page
- Trial activity since you last spoke
- Prior commitments, theirs and yours
- Who is new in the room, and likely priorities
You sell.
August carries the context.
Enterprise-grade agentic AI, designed to drive outcomes.
CONTEXT → INTELLIGENCE → AGENTS → ACTION → MEMORY
Connect
CRM, email, meetings, documents, external intelligence. August sits over your stack; it does not replace it.
Understand
A continuously updated commercial context: the assembled picture no individual has time to build.
Reason
Specialised agents interpret that context through clinical-trials knowledge and your own playbooks.
Act
Research, prepare, recommend, draft, monitor. A person decides anything that reaches a customer.
Learn
Commercial memory compounds across your team instead of leaving with a transcript or a departing seller.
The commercial outcomes that matter.
More time with customers
Less searching, summarising, administration and preparation.
Better-prepared conversations
Every interaction starts from the context the seller should have had all along.
Earlier opportunity detection
Signals become commercial action instead of unread information.
Fewer dropped balls
Commitments, risks and next steps stop depending on human memory.
Compounding team knowledge
What your best sellers know becomes available to everyone, and it survives attrition.
Consistent, visible AI adoption
One standard and one measure, instead of every seller improvising alone.
We start every deployment with an agreed baseline. We partner with you to define the commercial outcomes that matter, then measure them on an ongoing basis.
Deep context, implemented to an enterprise standard.
Clinical research is a complex industry, and its best sellers are domain experts. For a seller to stand out, their agents need the same depth. August reads three layers of context together, and implements its agents to an enterprise standard: permissioned, evidenced and human-controlled.
- The industry. Registries, regulatory events, pipelines, funding, leadership moves.
- Your business. Offerings, positioning, playbooks, your competitive picture.
- The territory. Accounts, CRM, email, calls, relationships, commitments.
SIGNAL → RECOMMENDATION → ACTION
Three workflows that boost your team’s productivity.
Find the signal
"What changed in my territory overnight, and where should I act?"
Prepare for the meeting
"Everything I should know before walking into the room."
- Account history, condensed to one page
- Trial activity: two changes since last call
- Open commitments: one of yours is due
- New in the room: Director, Data Management
- Likely priorities, with sources attached
Move the opportunity
"What is stalled, what is missing, what should happen next?"
Selling is moving from AI-assisted to agent-first.
Sales teams have accumulated CRM, intelligence, enablement, conversation and forecasting systems. Deployed correctly, agentic AI turns that stack from work the seller does into work done for the seller, and each system starts adding to the seller's productivity rather than asking more of it. That is an operating-model change, and it is the work we do with our customers.

- AI is embedded into the operating model
Build the agent-first sales organisation with us.
We are working with a small number of clinical-trial commercial teams on founding deployments. Bring us the work your sellers should not still be doing by hand.
Choose a workflow
One high-value job with a measurable cost today.
Configure August
Around your commercial context: data, playbooks, process, controls.
Deploy with a defined group
A named team, in a controlled environment.
Measure what changed
Against a baseline agreed before go-live.
Your sellers should not have to become AI experts. They should get to be better sellers.
People buy from people. In a small industry where everyone knows everyone, that will matter more in five years, not less. August makes the agent-first shift real for clinical research.

Customer voice
"What are our customers telling us, as a whole?"
Sellers who partner with AI are 3.7× more likely to meet quota.
Gartner surveyed 1,026 B2B sellers (January to March 2024) on the competencies that predict success. Effective partnership with AI tools topped the list, ahead of tactical flexibility and mentalising.
AI-enabled next best actions: 2.6× more likely to grow.
Sales organisations that give sellers AI-enabled next best actions are 2.6 times more likely to achieve commercial growth, from a Gartner survey of chief sales officers conducted in late 2025. Gartner also forecasts that by 2027, 95% of sellers’ research workflows will begin with AI.
AI can double the time sellers spend selling.
Bain finds sellers spend only around a quarter of their time actually selling, and that AI applied across the sales cycle can roughly double it, with win-rate improvements of more than 30% available to teams that deploy it properly.
Sellers expect agents to cut research time by a third.
Salesforce’s survey of 4,050 sales professionals (late 2025) found the average seller spends about 40% of their time selling. 54% have used AI agents, nearly nine in ten plan to by 2027, and sellers expect agents to cut prospect research time by 34% and drafting by 36%.
People with AI do materially better knowledge work.
In a field experiment with 758 BCG consultants, those using AI on tasks within its capability worked 25.1% faster, with quality rated over 40% higher. They did worse when trusting AI beyond its capability; domain context is the difference.
The benefit depends on organisational deployment.
Microsoft’s 2026 Work Trend Index found that only 19% of AI users work where individual capability and organisational readiness reinforce each other. The constraint is the operating model, not the technology.
Clinical trials × enterprise sales × agentic AI.
Every system a seller touches was built for someone else: the CRM for management visibility, the forecasting tool for the CFO. August is built from the seller's side of the desk.
Jatin (J) Jain
Eighteen years selling clinical trial technology to pharma, biotech and CROs, from randomisation systems in the 2000s to enterprise eClinical platforms, most recently as a sales leader at one of the industry's largest SaaS providers.
LINKEDIN →Enterprise systems
Led by an engineering partner with two decades designing, building and operating production platforms inside large enterprises, where security review, uptime and audit are conditions of doing business.
Commercial AI practice
Advised by leadership that has built and run AI-driven sales and marketing programmes for global enterprise clients, bringing tested agent patterns from other industries into clinical research.
We have lived this problem from both sides: the complexity of enterprise clinical-trial selling, and the difficulty of turning general-purpose AI into something sellers actually use.
